Meet Jeff.
Immediately following high school, Jeff joined the Air Force where he served for 3 years in the Electronic Countermeasures Division. During that time, he met and married his wife of more than 20 years. They moved back to Michigan just before the birth of their oldest child, where Jeff began attending Northwestern Michigan College while managing a local motel. Discovering a love of financial planning and record-keeping, Jeff declared an Accounting Major. Just before graduation, he was hired by the firm in 2001 and began his tenure as Vice President in 2009. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Ferris State University, and his Master of Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University. He is a member of MACPA.
Jeff strives to fulfill the expectations of his clients by being a trusted advisor in business and taxation. To accomplish this, he seeks to:
-
- Communicate in a prompt and proactive manner
- Continue his education in business, technology, taxation, and accounting
- Leverage cutting edge technology to provide convenient and accurate service
- Conduct business with the utmost integrity
- Maintain a broad network of trustworthy business professionals
As a self-taught acoustic guitarist, Jeff enjoys learning new music to share during services at his church or informal sessions with his musical family and friends. He is active in the youth ministry and at his church, where he has taught Sunday School for more than 16 years. Not surprisingly, he has also served as the treasurer of the church for more than 18 years, helping them to successfully navigate the ups and downs of the economy and its effect upon the congregation. The last couple of seasons have found him working on his golf skills by participating in a local league with his dad. He enjoys traveling with his wife and kids, especially the nearly annual visits to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum that he makes with his wife. Most evenings will find him unwinding with Netflix before beginning another busy day.
