Meet James:
James graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, after previously earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the same university. He has been with the firm since 2017, and previously worked as an income tax preparer for other local firms.
It was while completing his Business Administration degree that he was required to take an accounting course and found that he really enjoyed all that he learned in the class. The idea to pursue a career in accounting was born!
Being organized and able to solve puzzles quickly has helped him in this line of work. Diligent and hardworking, we know he will see the task through to completion! He is detail oriented and thorough, making him an excellent senior accountant.
A lifelong resident of Michigan, he enjoys the easy access to forests, rivers, and lakes. The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a special spot enjoyed by the whole family. When he is not crunching numbers, you will most likely find him spending time with his wife, son, and three daughters. They enjoy relaxing at the beach in the summer and sledding and building snow forts in the winter. Watching and playing sports are favorite pastimes too; his favorite sport is football and the Detroit Lions are his favorite team. He volunteers as the treasurer for his son’s local Boy Scout Troop and his homeowners’ association.
