Meet Tobi.
Originally from the sunrise side of the state, Tobi grew up swimming in Lake Huron. She met her husband and moved to Traverse city in 2008.
Tobi began in general business administration at Northwestern Michigan College. After making a few major changes, she obtained her associates degree in Marketing in 2012. During the last few classes of that degree, her heart was opened to accounting and she knew it was meant to be.
She quickly began taking more accounting classes through Ferris State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy in 2018. She started working in accounting with accounts payable and moved mainly to accounts receivable and collections.
She has experience calculating sales commissions, bank reconciliations, and extensive knowledge in QuickBooks and excel. She came to Intrust looking to gain more knowledge in tax laws and financial reporting. She hopes to help and guide community members and friends by gaining and sharing this knowledge. She loves math and numbers and is driven to problem solve. She also loves science, history, gardening, rock hunting, geocaching with her son, and of course the beach! Married for 12 years, she loves finding the best places to eat, comedy shows, and traveling.
